Patru veacuri de rugäciune neîntreruptä ne despart de anul 1608, in care marele vornic Cernica Stirbei cu sotia sa vorniceasa Chiajna ridicau, pe locul numit Grädistea Florestilor, o mânästire cu hramul Sfântul Nicolae. Mânästirea Cernica s-a dezvoltat
pe 2 ostroave (Sf. Nicolae si Sf. Gheorghe) la marginea lacului Cernica de pe cursul râului Colentina (cca 10 minute cu masina spre est de
la marginea Bucurestiului)

imi place cum ati gandit cadrul. Papurisul din prim plan te face sa te simti de parca ai fi acolo, asezat pe iarba, pe marginea lacului.
